Shipping & Delivery Policy Shipping & Delivery Policy At Global Trade Marts, we are committed to transparent pricing and reliable delivery services across South Africa. 1. Delivery Areas We currently deliver within South Africa. Delivery outside South Africa may be arranged upon special request and will be quoted separately. 2. Shipping Fees We charge a flat delivery fee of R3,000 per container within South Africa. The flat fee applies to standard delivery locations accessible to delivery vehicles. Remote or restricted access areas may require additional charges, which will be communicated before dispatch. Shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout. 3. Tax (VAT) All applicable products and shipping fees are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) at 15%, in accordance with South African tax regulations. VAT will be clearly calculated and displayed during checkout before payment is completed. 4. Delivery Timeframes Estimated delivery times: 2–5 business days within major metropolitan areas 5–10 business days for outlying areas Custom container conversions may require additional production time before dispatch. Delivery timelines begin once: Full payment (including VAT and shipping) has been received, and Delivery details have been confirmed. 5. Order Processing Orders are processed after: Successful payment confirmation Verification of delivery address Confirmation of site accessibility Customers will be contacted to schedule a delivery date. 6. Delivery Requirements The customer is responsible for ensuring: Adequate space for truck access Suitable ground conditions for offloading No overhead obstructions Clear instructions if special access conditions apply 7. Risk & Inspection Risk transfers to the customer upon successful offloading at the delivery site. Customers must inspect the container at the time of delivery. Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours with supporting photographs. If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, additional transport fees may apply. 8.
